The CHOOSE command will work:
https://www.rbase.com/support/rsyntax/rbgx5/choose.html
Specifically for a table:
CHOOSE vTableName FROM #VALUES +
FOR SYS_Table_Name +
FROM SYS_Tables +
WHERE SYS_Table_Name LIKE 'NamingConventionMask%'
The data dictionary, F3, lists all the system tables and columns if you
want to capture other db info.

I was wondering if there is any way to capture information about a
database, such as that which is contained in the Data Dictionary or
displayed by the List command, so that it can be referenced in a
command file. For example, I would like to allow the user to select a
table from a subset of all the tables in the database that match a
certain naming convention.
