Tip of the Day: Feedback with the AUTONUM Command
Product.......: R:BASE 11
Build.........: 11.0.1.40214 or higher

Did you know that AUTONUM is now included in the list of commands that will show feedback if the FEEDBACK setting is on?
With FEEDBACK set to ON, R:BASE displays the number of rows processed and the elapsed time to completion in a dialog window. Displays occur while in the Data Browser when printing reports/labels and when using the following R:BASE commands:
. ALTER TABLE
. AUTONUM
. COMPUTE
. CREATE INDEX
. CROSSTAB
. DELETE
. INSERT
. JOIN
. LOAD
. PROJECT
. SELECT
. SORTing a large record set
. SUBTRACT
. TALLY
. UNION
. UNLOAD
The FEEDBACK setting is a helpful feature to display processing results when calculating rows!
