Tuesday, November 12, 2024 To R:BASE Community, R:BASE Technologies has officially announced the End of Life and End of Support date for R:BASE X.5/X.5 Enterprise (Version 10.5) and all version 10.5 add-on products.
Please remember that Tuesday, December 31, 2024, will be the last day Software Assurance Plans will be available for purchase to cover R:BASE X.5/X.5 Enterprise product maintenance (deactivations, reinstallations, license transfers, etc.) if the product use continues. Just to let you all know, there have been no public updates of R:BASE X.5/X.5 Enterprise since the official release of R:BASE 11. Since R:BASE 11 is our current and active development environment, no bug fixes or enhancement requests will be entertained for R:BASE X.5/X.5 Enterprise (Version 10.5). After December 31, 2024, existing Software Assurance Plans covering R:BASE X.5/X.5 Enterprise will not be available for renewal. As with prior R:BASE releases, users may pre-purchase Software Assurance Plans until December 31st to extend their version 10.5 software support coverage. We hope these terms allow users ample time to migrate to R:BASE 11.0 from their version 10.5 applications. Conversion guides are available in the Support section at rbase.com.
