Hello,

My name is Cara Thornton, and I am a new R:BASE user. We are using R:BASE
X.5 Enterprise v.10.5.3.20812 in our hospital. I am learning the language,
but struggling to determine the most efficient way to build a variable
expression/EEP/form control that populates a list of options from a table
and assigns the one or multiple options selected by the form user to a
column in another table.

Example: Table_Call_Log has a column for Medical_History. There is a
separate Table_Medical_History_Selections that has the options to pick from
in column Medical_History_Selections. I can get the options to populate in
a Variable Lookup control, but selecting the options does not update the
Medical_History column in Table_Call_Log with the variable expression I
have. Do I need an EEP or can it all be defined in the variable expression?
I would also like to allow the form user to add options that are not listed
to the pick list. I greatly appreciate the assistance and look forward to
learning more!

Thank you,
Cara
