Hi List - I'm unable to get PRINT reportname EMAIL to work.
I've set the parameters in Settings > Report Designer > E-Mail Settings
> Report E-Mail Settings
I can Test and get Connection Established!
As a side question: Having done that, are some of the email parameters
required?
e.g. EMAIL_AUTHENTICATION, EMAIL_HOST, EMAIL_PORT, EMAIL_USERID etc
Or are these used to override what is set in the Report E-Mail Settings?
Back to the main issue:
The stripped PRINT command I'm using is:
PRINT InvoiceEM +
WHERE INVOICE# = .vInvoice# +
OPTION PDF|FILENAME .vPDFName +
|EMAIL ON +
|EMAIL_TO_LIST .vInvEmailAddress +
|EMAIL_SUBJECT .vSubject +
|EMAIL_BODY .vBody +
|EMAIL_FROM_NAME MyCompany +
|EMAIL_SHOW_DIALOG ON
All variables are properly defined, I've replaced the EMAIL_TO_LIST
variable with my hardcoded email address.
The PDF Filename is created and is in the current directory.
Everything in the Email Dialog prior to sending looks ok.
Does the computer on which I'm testing need to have an email client on it?
