Thank you for the response.

The form pulls up the original dataset.  One record for Table A and multiple records for Table B.  A one to many relationship. There are two common columns... MO_ID and LOC.  This all works as expected.

A speed button on the form allows the column LOC to be changed... in BOTH tables A and B. The column MO_ID remains unchanged.   The EEP has an update on Table A and immediately a second update on table B for the LOC column, setting both to the new value.   When this eep executes, the form updates table A as expected but ALL data in the DB Grid disappears.   Various property commands I have tried do not refresh the DBGrid.

Using the same speed button / same session, but changing the LOC value back to the original value, the table B DBGrid immediately repopulates with all the data.

It appears that the form links the two tables with both common columns, but when the values are changed for column LOC, the form "where clause" for the table B DBGrid does not update.   It apparently retains the original LOC value.  Thus when changing the value back, the DBGrid for table B repopulates.

It appears I need a PROPERTY LookupWhere clause for a DBGrid. This command works for a variable list view and I have used it before.  But it does not work for a DBGrid.

Any thoughts?

Thanks,

Bob

It sounds like when the value of B.LOC is changed, the relational connection to the corresponding A.LOC record terminates. If there’s an existing A record where the value of A.LOC equals the changed value of B.LOC, might an appropriate On Exit EEP in grid cell B.LOC do the trick?
