Tip of the Day: Advancing Tile Menu Automation with MAKECLICK Support
Product: R:BASE 11
Build: 11.0.2.20821 or higher
Section: Forms
Keywords: Tile Menu, PROPERTY, MAKECLICK, EEP

Did you know that the Tile Menu control now supports the MAKECLICK parameter to
simulate a mouse click?

The MAKECLICK parameter of the PROPERTY command is now available for the Tile
Menu control. This feature triggers the On Click EEP, simulating a mouse click.
Alongside the existing MAKEDBLCLICK parameter—which fires the On Double Click
EEP—this enhancement further expands automation capabilities within the Tile
Menu.

The Tile Menu provides a tile-based interface (colored rectangles or squares)
for creating groups of commands. Serving as both a menu control and a
container, it allows you to design robust, dashboard-style interfaces in your
R:BASE applications.

Check out the TileMenu_Sample.rffexternal form included with R:BASE 11 to see
these features in action.
