I know dbgrids you can have columns based on a table lookup expressions but have not seen a variable.
As for hiding columns in a form you can use this property to hide column(s) PROPERTY cedbgrid 'COLUMNS[4]->VISIBLE' 'False' Dan Goldberg From: 'Karen Tellef' via RBASE-L <[email protected]> Sent: Thursday, October 23, 2025 9:28 AM To: RBase List <[email protected]> Subject: [RBASE-L] - Hide a column in a grid Just wanna make sure I'm not missing something. In the past, if I had a DBGrid but I wanted the columns displayed to be different based on some variable, what do you do? I wish there was a "hide" property on the column level but I don't think there is. In the past, if I knew the form was pretty stable and not likely to be modified much, I've located 2 grids on the form, making one visible and one invisible. Or of course had 2 different forms, but I don't like doing that if the form is complicated cuz then I'd have to make changes in 2 places. Has anyone else done something different?
