Tip of the Day: Execute Code when Returning to Tile Menu's Main Page
Product: R:BASE 11
Build: 11.0.3.11120 or higher
Section: Forms
Keywords: Tile Menu, EEP, On Home Click, Action
Tile Menu Control Enhancements
The Tile Menu control has been improved with the addition of a new Entry Exit
Procedure (EEP) option that triggers when focus returns to the main page.
A new "On Home Click" EEP action has been added. This action executes its
defined code whenever the user navigates back to the main page from a details
page, enabling more flexible navigation handling and state management.
Available EEP Actions
The Tile Menu control now supports ten (10) EEP actions that can be executed in
response to user interaction or control state changes:
* On Click
* On Double Click
* On Enter
* On Exit
* On Mouse Enter
* On Mouse Leave
* On Resize
* On Tile Click
* On Tile Check
* On Home Click
These expanded options provide greater control over user interactions and
page-transition behavior, allowing developers to build richer, more responsive
interfaces.
