Tom, The most eloquent approach to accomplishing your goal is to create a VIEW of all reports with report names and descriptions, and then use that view to design a cool interface that uses the Enhanced DB Grid with a filter to search and capture the selected report in a variable. Then, use that selected report to do whatever you want to do. Here is a simple command to create a dynamic TEMPORARY VIEW or a Permanent VIEW. To Create a TEMPORARY View: SET ERROR MESSAGE 677 OFF DROP VIEW tListOfReports SET ERROR MESSAGE 677 ON CREATE TEMPORARY VIEW `tListOfReports` (ReportName,ReportTable,ReportComments) + AS SELECT Sys_Report_Name,Sys_Table_Name,Sys_Comment + FROM Sys_Reports3 ORDER BY Sys_Report_Name COMMENT ON VIEW `tListOfReports` IS 'List of Reports to be Shown in the Enhanced DB Grid with Filters' RETURN To Create a Permanent View SET ERROR MESSAGE 677 OFF DROP VIEW ListOfReports SET ERROR MESSAGE 677 ON CREATE VIEW `ListOfReports` (ReportName,ReportTable,ReportComments) + AS SELECT Sys_Report_Name,Sys_Table_Name,Sys_Comment + FROM Sys_Reports3 ORDER BY Sys_Report_Name COMMENT ON VIEW `ListOfReports` IS 'List of Reports to be Shown in the Enhanced DB Grid with Filters' RETURN I hope that gets you started with your goal.
