Recently i have been trying to use sconnect and
sattach to do a select which uses 2 tables from 2 different rbase
databases. I got it to work where i can select from the foreign table and
edit it, but when i do a select which uses the foreign table and a local table,
r:base just hangs (waited 5 minutes before giving up on a relatively simple
query). Is this because sconnect and sattach add significant overhead to
doing a join? Is there any way to overcome
this?
