I'm not sure if this helps, but maybe someone can put all the pieces together.
I have an app that is running at 5 sites (six if you count me). On my NT server system (and 3 win 98 systems) all works well. I run RBW 6.1a and 6.5+. All but one of the others are running RBW 6.1a runtime. I installed RBW 6.5+ runtime at one site and one proven routine crashes every time it's run... but I cannot duplicate it on my system, even using their data. The rest of the app runs fine. On another Win 2000 system (and RBW 6.1a runtime) we get spurious results printing a particular report. Again, on my system it works every time using their data file and identical apx files. Alastair's comment regarding illegal colors is a good lead I'm going to follow up on... and I wonder if there might not be other similar subtle issues at work. I'm hoping an upgrade to 6.5++ will improve some of the unexplained differences in stability from one machine/os to another. Has anyone found this to be true?
