Ben : >> I have experienced the same thing... on problem forms I place a "Pause for 1" immediately after the edit command, and this seems to help. <<
I don't think PAUSE FOR 1 AFTER the EDIT command would help in my case because when RBase crash the form still display onto the screen. Alastair : >> Interesting, I place a "pause for 2" before the form is called. Pause for 1 is not enough. << I added PAUSE FOR 1 BEFORE the EDIT USING command, but the problem still happen (may be less often). >> Does anyone else get 3 "illegal function" error messages if R:Bases crashes? << Yes, I do. Most of the times, message looks like : Command at '0x0074aecd' uses memory adress '0x4fd6c6f8'. Memory cannot be 'read' This create an entry in Dr Watson log files .... As I don't run W2K/NT at home, I have no chance to duplicate the problem : it hapen only on client's PC My app is the same everywhere, DB structure is the same. Never happen with W98 ... J.M.
