Yes Razzak
People are still using legacy systems; I for one still use even 2.11.
I can easily convince my clients for the RBTI fee. My problem is that
when I present my own fee (normally in the region 2 to 50 times the fee
to RBTI pending the complexity of the database) that's when my customers
get a hickup.
The only thing I am saying we are in this together the smother
conversion you provide the easier we have to convince our clients.
The conversion from DOS to Windows is possible but not smooth. Just to
explain why we sometimes put unbiliveble demands on R:BASE

Jim,

Are you clients still using legacy 4.5++ for DOS?

They have upgraded their hardware and printers to the latest and
greatest.
How about R:BASE? I guess, they still expect the legacy version of 4.5++
(released in Sept 1994) to work. .. Well, you know what I would say to
that
customer? ...
Ok. that's enough to give you a hard time <g>.

I would check the printer properties:

Start > Settings > Printers >

Highlight appropriate printer and then right click for "Properties" to
make
sure that particular printer has the support for printing "DOS" jobs.

Hope that helps!

Very Best Regards,

Razzak.
