The old Norton utilities (DOS) had a hex editor that would allow you to open
any file and, you could actually edit the file one byte at the time. I am
sure that here are many freeware hex editors that do the same thing. A
Google search will point you in the right direction.

Subject: [RBASE-L] - Re: CVAL('ERROR DETAIL'))

Hi all

I have been using the CVAL('ERROR DERAIL')) function
to track errors.

How can I find where byte 28352 is in my file?

I can't find a way to get RCode to show me the byte or
any other Word processor I have on my computer.

Thanks
marc
