For what it's worth, It seems the secret to getting your payroll numbers for Federal Withholding to match Quickbooks, is....multiply the weekly check by 52, calculate the annual Federal Withholding using the formula in Circular E, and divide the result by 52. This year the formulas are in table 7 of circular E, page 35, one for married, one for single.
