Bill W2k and XP have the options on the exe's shortcut to select font.. The 10x18 is what I use also for [Windowed] Dos versions, but I find that a lot of users think this is too small. I have seen the option on most shortcuts though to pick a different font in Win2k that will let you go beyond the 10x18 size and most users we have like this. In XP pro you don't get a specific font like system or ???? just the size of the font option. I have found that you don't want to go full scren and above 12x?? or it will put the RBase menu off the top of the screen. This would something that would freak a user out... he,he.. In XP Pro you get the choice of Types of fonts (Bitmaps,TrueType,Both) I have to admit, I use a 10x18 Bitmap choice just to play it safe.

I take it most of the people in the group prefer full screen when running dos apps. I personally prefer to run rbase (4.5++) in a dos window with 10x18 font (win 98). It looks good, covers about 80% of my screen, and I can cut and paste from it to windows apps instantly. I think you guys might be saying that with XP it's full screen dos or something really tiny/not usable? So does xp not have a "MSDOS Window" that has font size, cut& paste, etc? bill
