I got the same error. The downloaded file is RBWINUpdt.exe, size is 18.1

(19,044,489), date is 1/31/2003; however, the installed files have a date

of

1/31/00, 6:54 AM. My PC clock is set up correctly.

I find that when I do the update it gives me whatever the current

date/time

on my PC is.  So maybe your PC clock is off?

I did the above, downloaded and installed download-RBWINUpdt.exe. After
installation, checked the file dates. ALL dates are either 1/31/2000 at
6:54am or 12/31/2001 at 6:55am.

My current [after installation] Build [from R>show version] is

1.864xRT03.

My question remains. Are these dates correct? If so, why?

I am having fun, but am puzzled why the file dates are so old??????
