Most older printers have a set of DIP (I think that means Direct Inline Position...) switches that only have on/off positions and the pattern is like bits in a character and these set the printer for different features. Size page is one of the common settings. One would need the manual for the printer to determine which switch or combination does what. If you choose to deal with this and find the manual, Just set the pattern to the size page you want and turn the printer off and back on to reset it. Reset the settings to default when done with special jobs and switch off and back on returns printer to whatever is set on the switches.
However, if the people operating this are "skittish" about doing anything technical like switching a switch, this probably would create you lots of calls for help.
