Is it possible - and if not would it be a good idea - to have a rule based on a column wherever it is used rather than in an individual table?
For example, I have 4 rules that a value in a column that is used in 4 tables should not exceed 75. Today I needed to change the max value to 200 which meant 4 changes rather than 1. Not a problem if each table containing the column is changed but, naturally, I forgot one. I should have checked - my fault - but a single rule would be easier to maintain.
