Dan,

There is a program out there called VEdit, from Greenview Data, in AnnArbor,
Mi. Web address is www.vedit.com. It's a neat text editor, and it has a macro
called WildFile, which will step through a series of programs, and do a
search and replace of whatever you wish, including double quotes to single
quotes. I hate to plug another product on the list, but this one is one I
SWEAR by, so I will.

It will search all of the files in a directory, and either open the file
where you have an occurance, or open one line, promt you for a replacement,
or replace automatically. Neat tool to solve the problem in question. It will
also auitomatically make a backup copy of the files you changed with a .bak
extension, so you can go back to them, if you wish. I changed over 200 files
at one time using this thing, and it saved me a LOT of hours, and did it
cleanly and quickly.

Just a thought if you have a LOT to change.

Damon
