Hello all,
We keep getting this error when trying to connect to an R:Base data source
via Oterro from a third party party (Intel's CT-ADE ADO) application. We
used to receive this when connecting from Coldfusion as well. The work
around with coldfusion is to 'Verify' the datasource manually at system startup
which seems to 'Solve?!?!' the problem. Unfortunately Intel's tool does
not include a 'verification' option and we are left with the following
error: [Oterro ODBC Driver] -ERROR- Illegal Database name ( 9).
We just upgraded to the newest version of Oterro 2.5 in hopes
of solving this issue but it's still there. We have been fighting this
issue for a very long time and I hope someone out there has a work-around that
they can share with us.
