Nothing changes but the OS on the workstation - it happens with printers
running through pc server and network print servers

Are you using Windows2000Server or Pro for
printing. What kind of printer/s. Does it drop the characters at the
end of the line. Have you tried to narrow the feild to fit the printer
better?? Did you get new printers when you went to win2000 from

I keep running into a wall on this one - We have
multiple customers using windows2000 and whenever they are printing anything
with a large amount of text (note field or just a large text field) it drops
characters, adds line breaks and trashes the format all around. We
have changed drivers, fonts, font versions and nothing appears to
help. Most of the time it is happening on networked printers but some
do happen when the printer is directly connected to the workstation.
Has anyone else run into this? Does anyone know of a solution or
workaround other than going back to win98 (which works just fine no matter
what)
