Jack,
First, open a DOS window and then type "cd\" then ENTER.
Second, place the 1st R:Base installation disk in drive A:.
Third, place a non-valuable cd in the cd-rom drive.
Fourth, type "A:INSTALL" then ENTER.
Fifth, the installation program should run normally.
I tried this on my Windows 98 computer using the original
R:Base v6.0 (dos) installation disks and it worked perfectly.
