To all attendees: As usual we want to make your entire conference experience as stress-free as we can - and transportation issues can be a real stressor ... so with that said, here is some info that may help.
Airport Transportation: The shuttle company used by the Radisson Monroeville is the Majesty Transportation Group. Toll free 1-888-546-6048 or email at [EMAIL PROTECTED] They offer two options: 1. Shuttle - cost $26.00 CASH ONLY each way - this includes the fare, tip and fuel surcharge. This shuttle runs every two hours from 9:00am to 9:00pm Monday - Friday. When you make your reservation, you will be told where to meet the driver (usually at the baggage claim), and when you arrive you will be met by the driver holding a sign with your last name on it. The Shuttle will probably have to pick up others so you may have a wait and/or ride to other stops on the way to the hotel. However, they are very reliable. For the return trip, they prefer 24 hours notice but can work on a same day basis if they have at least a few hours notice. 2. Private car service - cost $61.00 CASH or Credit Card each way - includes fare, tip and fuel surcharge. They will guarantee pickup at a specific time and will transport you directly to the hotel. This fee is to transport up to four people, so if you are with a group or you can get a group together, you could save both money and time with the private car service. Carpooling: Last year, we had relatively good success in matching up people who were arriving and leaving about the same time. Some people wanted to rent a car and were happy to have others as riders help defray their expenses. Some people got together and scheduled a private car since their flights were at about the same time.
