Hi all, Many years ago, I wrote a DOS app that prints a fancy letter with barcode on a local HP LaserJet 3 printer connected to parallel port LPT1:
The barcode font is downloaded into printer's memory before printing. Escape PCL commands are embeded into Rbase report. I use not only barcodes but also underlines/bold, severals size/font .... This was working fine with a old HP LaserJet 3/4/5P local or shared .... It don't work anymore with a new HP Laser Multifunction printer 3330 mfp (fax/scanner/copy). Environment is the same (W95/RB 4.5++/parallel port). I get correct underlines/bold effects .... but no bar codes .... Any idea why ? Is there any known incompatibility between PCL3 and PCL 6 ? Any printer's configuration parameters what diseable downloaded fonts ? Do Anybody has similar experience ? TIA J.M. GRATIAS, Logimatique
