I have the same problem with MS Visio Professional 2002.  It refuses to connect to R:Base 6.5++ via Oterreo 2.0.  The error messages are similar to yours.  A prior verson (I cannot remember which, but it might be the one before MS purchased Visio) did work well with R:Base. Visio 2002 works without problem with Access databases, of course.  I suspect the problem is the Visio "Generic ODBC driver" (in Reverse Engineer Wizard), which is inherent in Visio and is not included in the list of drivers in my Windows XP Professional installation (you can see the whole list of Windows installed ODBC drivers in the Windows Registry:  Run REGEDIT -- HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\ODBC\ODBCINST.INI\ODBC Drivers\  ).   Stuck?  Me too.   Stan Loo     ----- Original Message ----- From: Edwards Lucas To: RBASE-L Mailing List Sent: Monday, March 31, 2003 5:17 PM Subject: [RBASE-L] - Visio 2002 Hi All I'm curious to know whether any of you use Visio2002 to reverse engineer/document your databases.
