At long last I have started my first Windows application. I have started with 6.5++ 1.864 If I rename dear employee# 131 to Mary rnqvist in CONCOMP database If I then do R> sel all from employee where emplname contains ‘’ *( Capital national character ) I will get One row as expected If I then do R> sel all from employee where emplname contains ‘’ *( Gemen (is that English for non capital?) national character ) I will get no rows satisie….
If I repeat with T and t I will have the same result of 3 rows, that is :T is not case sensitive seams to be!
It is in a dynamic where clause in a popup I need the search to valid for national charters without being casesensitive.
For version 1.864 I am not worried, but it seams to me that it is the same in 7.0 (After a minor test in DEMO-READ only version of 7.0 it seems that the problem stays in 7.0
Can I hope that R:DCC put this on the list of small things to fix?
