I have a request from someone in my company to assist them with retrieving data from a R:BASE 3.1 database. She is complaining about how difficult MS ACCESS is to deal with. I have a real opportunity to open her eyes to the wonders of R:BASE for Windows. But first things first! I have to get this R:BASE 3.1 database open for her.
The files are way out of sync. I tried using RBSYNC to restore them, but I'm getting the message "ACCESS DENIED". I've checked and the files are not marked as read only. I have a call into our network person to make sure there are no network reasons I can't access the files. I have not heard back from him yet. Does RBSYNC work the same way in version 3.1? R:SCOPE says it is unable to open the file. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks! Cheryl
