I have not run into this problem, normally when I want to duplicate tiers, it will prompt for spacing and then it will create as many tiers as it can fit in the region. When it leaves too much blank space at the bottom, I remove the duplicate tiers, adjust the region size ( enlarge to fit an extra tier or reduce so it does not leave a lot of blank space) and the recreate the duplicate tiers. I am running  6.5++ WIN 1.862xRT03.

Subject: [RBASE-L] - Tiers Outside of Region

I have the strangest thing happening when I try to duplicate tiers within a region.

The last duplicated tier exeeds the defined region?!

Has anyone ever come across this anomoly before?

I have duplicated the problem and have even created a *new* database

with a 1 column table and created a from with a tiered region and it does it there as well.

I have to assume it has something to do with an internal rbase setting

as I can't believe this would be a bug affecting just me!  (well... it is Monday)

Any ideas would be greatly accepted (and acted upon!)

Thanks,

Rob Vincent
