Depending on how you did it.
Since it is a DBF file I would assume attach was used, then use DETACH
dbfFileName.
You could also try this
Make a backup of the databse and then at the
R:> DROP TABLE ALL
You will then be prompted to Delete suchandsuch table The
default is NO
Select Yes when you get to that table.
