I just checked this information for a client not too long ago, I believe
that this are the dates when retail licenses stop being sold, support goes
on for several years after that.

Not sure how much this affects any of you in your planning cycles, but
Microsoft has decided that it will discontinue product support for Windows
2000 Professional as of Apil 2004 and that Win98 was discontinued as of June
2003. XP's scheduled date of abandondment is December 2005. Windows NT
Server is planned for obsolescnce as of December 2003 as well.

Not sure about you, but this affects my users pretty heavily. Thought I'd
pass the heads up along...
