Hi Albert,

One of the things I did check when I discovered the problem was whether the
margins could be "snapped" and, as far as I could tell, they can't. Also,
snapping seems to move fields to the left and never to the right while
dividers between sections always seem to move up rather than down.

To add to your timely warning, watch out for fields jumping to another
section if snap is on and a divider is moved!

_IF_ my margins moved by themselves they moved to the left by an inch or
more not just a pixel or two. Perhaps there should be a way of "deleting"
margins altogether - as you can the dividers.

The movement of the grid seems to be related to the size of the form/report
window and I have mentioned this feature on this list before - about a year
ago at a guess. If you have a form/report that extends beyond the visible
screen area and you use the scroll bars to view another area you will find
that when you go back to the top and/or left that the dots are in a
different position. As I remember it, Razzak suggested that maximising the
R:Base window and form/report window within it was the best solution.

Thanks & regards,
Alastair.
