Did you know that you can use the "Refresh" option or better yet, the PROPERTY command.
Try the following (Release Candidate 6 or higher):
PROPERTY TABLE TableName REFRESH
will instantly refresh record(s) on displayed form controls, including Scrolling Region!

Among sooo many features, the Next Generation R:BASE 7.0 for Windows (currently being tested as "final" Release Candidate 6) also includes "Refresh" option in Form Designer "DB Navigator" Control.
