Good evening
everyone.
The Tri-State Area R:Base users group meeting is
scheduled for Thursday evening, October 2, 2003, at approximately
6:00. The location will be at 225 Park Ave. South, on the 19th
floor. (225 Park Ave. South is between 18th and 19th St.) Please call
me on 212-435-6501 should you have any questions.
The agenda for the meeting is;
* Opening remarks by the man himself, Dr. A. Razzak
Memon.
* Razzak has told me that he plans to distribute a demo
version of R:Base 7.0. We will be able to go over the demo version -
live.
(For those who have not toyed in the new release this
alone should be a reason to join use.)
* Razzak also plans on having a 'goodie' to give out to
all those who attend - sorry but that is all I have.
* My office has been converting our 6.5++ app's into 7.0. We
will share with you the pains and the glory (again a live
demo).
* An open session for discussion. Prior to the meeting, if you
have specific areas you would like to have discussed please let me know and I
will put it on the official agenda.
* General discussions for the potential of future get
togethers and the sharing of tips, tricks and general
information.
For those of you have haven't
seen Razzak give the introduction to R:Base training you now have the
opportunity to. He will be in New York on Friday, Oct 3rd and Saturday, October
4th at the same location. My suggestion is don't miss this opportunity. There
are some great Broadway shows to see the NYC.
