Are the pauses ocurring less than 2 seconds apart? Don't know, just a wild guess but if the second pause starts before the first one finishes well...... In one file I have five of them. Only three work as designed. The other two (identical) just keep the prompt standing there refusing to disappear unless the OK button is pressed.
