Does anybody else have problems with Windows wanting to load all manner of things when you boot your PC?
Do you get conflicts with programs trying to compete for memory at the same time or have programs that you would prefer to load only under certain circumstances? If so, you can use R:Base and the LAUNCH command instead! How? Create a command file that changes directory and launches the programs from the StartUp folder, add in any controls you might want - menu to choose items, pauses, on-screen comments, etc. - and then move all your selected programs from StartUp to a different folder for safe-keeping and run R:Base and the command file instead from StartUp. Works like a dream (at least in W98SE & RBWin 6.5++)!
