J.M. It has been a while since I have done BIOS configuration, but I believe that you need to set the parallel printer to one of the ECP/EEP ports, the DMA stand for direct memory address and it is used to make sure that you do not have conflicts with other software that uses DMA access, it is kind of what the interrupts used to do for serial ports. If the setting does not work, you can try a different setting such as bi-directional; the Centronics protocol is old and it was originally designed for the old line printers (made by Centronics, of course) and it is not good adequate for the new generation of printers. I do not believe that you need to re-install the printer unless there is a new driver; there have been times when I bought a new printer and by the time I got to install it, the manufacturer already had an upgraded version on their web site. Good luck. Javier,

I check CMOS config. It is set to Centronics TM. Others values avalaible are : Bidirectionnal Bidirectionnal EPP 1.4 Bidirectionnal EPP 1.9 ECP/EPP 1.9 DMA 1 ECP/EPP 1.9 DMA 3 Which one should I choose ? Do I have to uninstall/reinstall HP 3330 mfp printer after changing CMOS config ? Thanks for helping .... J.M. GRATIAS, Logimatique
