I suspect that your problem is related to using the ODBC connection that
comes with R:base instead of the Oterro driver.  Crystal does a good job of
linking tables together and submitting the query w/o needing to use views,
but there is an option you want to make sure that it is checked.  It is
called something like "Perform grouping on server."  This will make a big
difference on performance.

When I select the view on Crystal report i have a message it tell me that
