I greatly appreciate everyone of you who have responded to my
question concerning "Creating Graphs From R:Base v6.5++
For Windows Data".

Oleta,

Ask and you shall receive!

Here's how easy it is in R:BASE 7.0 for Windows using
R:Charts (version 1.0):

01. Design a Graph/Chart using one of the following
    styles based on Table(s)/View(s).

    . Line Chart
    . Bar Chart
    . Horizontal Bar Chart
    . Area Chart
    . Point Charts
    . Pie Chart
    . Fast Line Chart
    . Horizontal Line Chart
    . Horizontal Area Chart
    . Shape Chart
    . Gantt Chart
    . Bubble Chart

02. Save the style and size, etc. (filename.rbc)

03. To view that particular chart in a command file
    or in an EEP:

    PLUGIN RCharts.RBL +
    FILENAME FileName.RBC +
    |SAVE_TO_JPG FileName.jpg +
    |IMAGE_WIDTH xxx +
    |IMAGE_HEIGHT xxx
    LAUNCH FileName.jpg

04. To dynamically view that particular chart in a
Form based on current table/view values:

Use "Variable Image" Control with all necessary
coordinates to link with a variable, such as
    vImage.

Define an EEP, such as ViewChart.EEP with the
    following commands:

-- ViewChart.EEP

    PLUGIN RCharts.RBL +
    FILENAME FileName.RBC +
    |SAVE_TO_JPG FileName.jpg +
    |IMAGE_WIDTH xxx +
    |IMAGE_HEIGHT xxx
    SET VAR vImage = 'FileName.jpg'
    EDIT USING FormName

05. To dynamically view that particular chart in a
Report based on current table/view values:

Use "Variable Image" Control with all necessary
coordinates to link with a variable, such as
    vImage.

Create the image of the chart:

    PLUGIN RCharts.RBL +
    FILENAME FileName.RBC +
    |SAVE_TO_JPG FileName.jpg +
    |IMAGE_WIDTH xxx +
    |IMAGE_HEIGHT xxx
    SET VAR vImage = 'FileName.jpg'

Print the report:

PRINT ReportName OPTION SCREEN|Window_State MAXIMIZED

That'a all there is to it.

Enjoy the Unbounded Possibilities in R:BASE 7.0 for Windows!

Very Best R:egards,

Razzak.

P.S.
R:Charts will be available as "pre-purchase beta" during the
second week of December 2003.
