Transporting the data to .XLS or other graph generating programs is a safe bet. If you want to stay within R:Base, you can generate basic graphs such as histograms or bar charts. This, unfortunately, is better in the DOS versions as it generates the ascii characters more completely abd realistically. With the 6.5 version for Windows I use the best ascii characters that are generatable on screen or printer. Store the data in a temporary or permanent table and use them to proportionally display the number of characters you need. This is not exact but comes close enough to the true picture

Dear R:Base Newsgroup,

I would like to thank every member of this Newsgroup who has contributed to my R:Base education.  I hope that you all have a pleasant and safe Holiday season.

  Now, on to business.

I have been informed by numerous R:Base developers that R:Charts will be released in about two or three months.

Until that time is here I would like to know what you R:Base developers are using right now to produce graphs from R:Base data.

Thanks,
