        Thanks for the suggestion.  I can see where this would
have an impact when editing data but not when entering it.  The
users have had no problems when editing, only when entering.
I will try it anyway to see if it makes a difference.

        My current thinking is that it might be minor form
corruption and I'm going to dig up an old copy of the form
and reinstall it.
