Steve: Forget
about what the manual says, in many cases they vary from version to version and
sometimes they are no correct. You can easily test the behavior of the SKIP
command: Create
a file test.rmd as follows: --
file test.rmd EDIT
USING your_form_name RETURN At
the R> prompt run: TRACE
test.rmd It
should go through all the EEPs that you access while navigating through your form.
If the SKIP command goes through the EEP in question, it will display it, if it
“jumps” directly to the field, then you will not see the EEP. Javier, Javier Valencia, PE President Valencia

you see what Ron (Rose) replied? His take, based on his read of the 5.5
doc's, indicates otherwise. Bill, Sami,
Razzak, Et Al., anyone care to elucidate/elaborate? Thanks, Steve in

[RBASE-L] - RE: Follow-Up to Multi-Page FORM Question andSKIP ...
That is, if
there is a field-level EEP that executes on exit from the field, and that field
is "on the path" to the SKIP-target, would this cause a
problem? Fundamentally, when a SKIP executes, does it actually "hop"
from field to field as it goes, or does it "hop" directly to the
target?
