Shane, I have never used q.exe, so I cannot compare any other product to it.
I know that I have always used R:Style since it first came available and I have always used R:Code since it came out. I have never experienced any problems and I write an extremely large amount of R:Base code every year. I can easily select blocks in R:Code as well as many other functions. As far as text editors go, I have used Multi-Edit, Note Pad, Word Pad, MS-DOS Edit, Ted, among a host of others, and never experienced any problems. However, I have found R:Code to work the best and I like the fact that you can R:Style your code with just a few key strokes. What version of R:Base are you currently using?
