As I have looked at the code and the environment there are several places that this software gets printer information: RBASE.CFG (PRINTER HPLASER1) and from an application called START.RMD (SET VAR vNetPr$ TEXT = 'HPLASER1'). If any one has any other places to look I'd like to know.
One solution provided to me was to go out and buy another printer. I would like to fix it so that this printer works. But with the silence on this list that may be what you all are saying. Rbase Inc wouldn't happen to have a printer driver file like 'HP2300.prd' like the ones supplied with the latest version of rbase for dos - hplaser1.prd would they?
