Have you tried moving the variable gathering routine outside of the Output Printer.
The other thing to look at would be.. Where is the PF and/or RF located.

Subject: [RBASE-L] - Blank Page Printing

I created an all-variable report in 6.5 consisting of three columns of sixty
variables each. These are in the Detail area. I run a program to load name
and address data into the variables and when the variables are filled (or
nearly), I print the report using "where count = 1" and then start gathering
and loading variable data for the next page. The variable gathering routine
is within the "Output Printer - Output Screen" area.

The problem I'm having is that Windows is kicking out a blank page after
each printed page. I have Lines Per Page set at 59 and am using an 8 pt
font which is printing at about 6 lines per inch. I've tried shorting the
number of variables down to 50, reducing the length of the page, but I still
get the blank pages. Printing a normal report doesn't generate the blank
pages. When I output to the Screen I don't get a blank page.

Any ideas to try would be appreciated!

Patrick
