Bernie:
I don't think that you can edit table SYS_TABLES. If you want to make
changes to the SYS_TABLES table, you should do it through RBDEFINE so that
database integrity is maintained. The only SYSTEM table that I edit is the
SYS_DEFAULTS when I need to reset the auto number, other that I make changes
through the RBDEFINE command. In the old days, I used to tweak the
SYS_REPORTS and SYS_FORMS as well, but since the advent of 6.5 and LOBs this
is no longer doable.
