I've seen this on other Windows OS's as well - I think that adding a NEWPAGE
command solved it in some cases.

Subject: [RBASE-L] - RB DOS printing on XP

I have a client who is trying to print from R:BASE for DOS on a Windows XP
home edition machine.

The startup batch file is:

Path=c:\rbfiles;%path%
net use lpt1: /delete
net use lpt1: \\ben\HP4050
cd rbfiles
rbase
net use lpt1: /delete
exit

The printer is connected directly to the computer and is shared.
They are on a workgroup network with no specific IP addresses or logins.

The share name of the printer is HP4050, the computer name that the printer
is connected to is Ben.

Sometimes the reports spool up and don't print until the user exits R:BASE
and sometimes they don't ever print at all.

Any ideas?

Thanks,
Sami
