"Top 5" by what measurement? Usability? Features? SQL Compliance? Sales? 
Performance? Price? Price/Performance? Installed base? Price/Seat? Ease of 
Administration?

Probably on most lists would be Oracle, Microsoft SQL-Server, IBM DB2, but not by 
some of those measurements. On very different scales, a list might have Microsoft 
Access, mySQL, PostgreSQL, "Filemaker" 

Tell your boss the top five are:

Oterro 3.0
Oterro 2.6
Oterro 2.0
R:Base 8.x
R:Base 7.x
