I am looking for some feedback on the maximum number of concurrent users.
We are looking to significantly increase the number of concurrent users on an existing application. We are using R:Base 6.1 with a VB front end and anticipate the number of concurrent users going to 150-200. The new users will be using the system just to record their time. The number of records accessed will be minimal.
Has anyone here had any experience with an R:Base application with that many concurrent users.
Steve,
Personally, I have no experience using a VB Application with such a number of concurrent users with R:BASE 6.1. I can tell you everything you need to know regarding R:BASE 6.5++, 7.1, 7.5 and R:WEB Suite with Oterro 3.0.
In reference to using Oterro 3.0 with VB and .NET Mike Byerley mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] and Neil Smith mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] can tell you more.
On the other hand, you should have no problem running the latest Oterro 3.0 (08/25/2004) with VB in such an environment. http://www.oterro.com
Take a look at What's New in Oterro 3.0 (08/25/2004).
Good luck!
Very Best R:egards,
Razzak.
